The launch of eXp Luxembourg is being led by Karim Layouni. With more than 12 years’ experience in the Luxembourg sector and extensive senior management experience in Belgium, Layouni has built a reputation for developing high-performing agent networks and supporting sustainable business growth.
Layouni’s appointment signals eXp’s intention to establish a quality-led, professional platform tailored to the realities of a cross-border market.
Layouni began his career within the RE/MAX Luxembourg network, where he operated as a Broker and Manager across 14 offices and approximately 140 agents. During this period, the business ranked number one nationally for transactions and commissions between 2016 and 2018 and consistently remained among the top-performing networks in subsequent years.
He later joined RE/MAX Belgium as Business Development Manager before progressing to Chief Operating Officer, working closely with brokers and agents nationwide on recruitment, onboarding, training, compliance, and long-term retention. His experience spans both frontline brokerage and senior operational leadership, giving him a detailed understanding of the challenges faced by modern agents.
Now leading eXp’s launch in Luxembourg, Layouni believes the market is ready for a new approach.
